Fri. Depart for Seattle – Fly from your home city to Seattle on Chartwell pre-arranged flights. Upon arrival in Seattle, be met by your local representative and transfer to Celebrity Cruise Lines’ Celebrity Infinity, scheduled to set sail for Alaska’s Inside Passage at 4:00PM.
Sat. At Sea – Relax at AquaSpa and spend the day being pampered. Try your luck in Fortunes Casino or maybe just lay around on deck with a good book. Either way, this relaxing day at sea will get you ready for your Alaska experience. (B, L, D)
Sun. Ketchikan, Alaska – This southern-most Alaskan port city is known as Alaska's First City because it was the first major community travelers came to heading north. Billed as the salmon capital of the world, it is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit tribe. A must see here is the world’s largest collection of totem poles. Celebrity Infinity arrives Ketchikan at 7:00AM and remains until 4:00PM.
Mon. Tracy Arm Fjord (Sawyer Glacier) Cruising. Infinity sails into Tracy Arm Fjord at 6:00AM. This is perhaps one of the most dramatic locations in all of North America. Completely protected within the Tongass National Forest, this fjord is nestled between 3,000-foot high granite walls. The shoreline is spotted with waterfalls created by melting snowcaps and trees sprouting from rocky outcroppings. You will have until 10:00AM to admire the landscape and catch sight of a few native animals. Then Infinity continues on to Juneau
Mon. Juneau, Alaska. Scheduled to arrive at 2:30PM, Juneau is home to the famous Mendenhall Glacier and is Alaska’s state capital. Third largest city in Alaska, it is a blend of gold rush history, nature and Native Culture. Founded during a gold rush in 1880, the city is perched on a thin strip of land at the mouth of Gold Creek. Juneau is arguably one of America's most beautiful state capitals, with the looming summits of Mt. Juneau and Mt. Roberts providing a gorgeous backdrop. Several magnificent fjords are located along the channel coast. You will have until 10:00PM to explore this fascinating destination.
Tue. Skagway, Alaska. Arrive Skagway at 7:00AM and have time to explore until you sail at 8:30PM. Few one-time boomtowns retain the flavor of the gold rush days like Skagway. Thousands of prospectors sailed the Inside Passage to Skagway, and from here labored over the Chilkoot or White Pass trail, bound for Dawson, deep in Canada’s Yukon. Before they could leave town, they faced the temptation of 80 saloons, loose ladies and quick fingered gamblers. Today, this gateway to the Klondike is preserved as a national historic park with its rustic boardwalk and frontier-style storefronts. When Infinity sails from Skagway you will begin your Inside Passage cruise experience.
Tue. Inside Passage Sailing. This is one of the most famously beautiful passages in all the world. It features virtually everything you came to Alaska hoping to see, including rain forests, glaciers, fjords and white-capped peaks. All of which create a setting that's perfect for viewing whales and sea lions.
Wed. At Sea: Enjoy another relaxing day of cruising aboard the elegant Celebrity Infinity as she heads to your last port-of call, Victoria, B.C., Canada.
Thur. Victoria, BC, Canada. Ranked as one of the “must-see” cities on the Pacific Coast, this one-time British colonial post is full of historic sites, public parks and groomed gardens. Due to its location, this quaint yet sophisticated little seaside city boasts the mildest climate in Canada. Arriving at 7:00PM, Infinity remains in port until 11:59PM (midnight).
Fri. Seattle, Washington. Arriving Seattle at 7:00AM, disembarkation will begin approximately two hours later. The local representative will coordinate your return transfer to the airport in Seattle for your return back home.
